Proficiency Plus™ was established to honor Founder/Board Member, Dawn Mancil's entrepreneurial spirit.  Participants learn about entrepreneurship, create a business plan with the objective of starting their own business.  Participants and high school students who elect to attend business school and need financial assistance are eligible for the Proficiency Plus™ Scholarship.

PROGRAMS

Peripheral Vision™ prepares high school, junior college and amateur athletes for college and careers after sports. Our goal is to encourage aspiring professional athletes to use their peripheral vision, not only on the court, field and track, but in all aspects of their lives. Peripheral Vision provides mentors, academic assistance, personal and career development, and workshops pertaining to sports and alternative careers. Participants perform community service, explore their other talents and skills, learn about the multitude of educational and career opportunities and create strategies to become champions in their respective sport and life.

HUEMAN® Rights provides scholarships to law students and legal assistance to underprivileged communities. Scholarships are awarded to Howard University law students who need financial assistance to prepare for the California Bar Exam.  Scholarship Recipients...
Nature of the Game College and Professional Tour (“Tour”) exposes students to universities, sports executives and tourist attractions in Washington, DC, Philadelphia and New York. The scholar athletes attending the Tour are selected based on their participation in the Peripheral Vision™ program, their GPA and leadership qualities. Previous participants visited Columbia University, Howard University, Georgetown University, Wharton School of Business and Lincoln University.
